Swat valley is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. Swat valley tourism is famous for it’s upper valley along river Swat i.e Kalam & Mahondand, which rises in the Hidu Kush range. The capital of Swat is Saidu Sharif, but main town of Swat valley is Mingora. It was a princely state in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until it was dissolved in 1969. The valley is almost entirely populated by ethnic Gujjar, Kohistani and Pashtuns. The language spoken in the valley is Gojri, Kohistani and Pashto. Kalam is the capital of Swat valley tourism
